Hi, WE’RE THE armored church!
With much joy, we are excited to announce that God has lead us to start and incorporate a Church (“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” -Matthew 18:20), but this isn’t your typical Church. He has told us to launch a Mobile Church (we’ve never heard it either) called The Armored Church based upon Ephesians 6 : 10-18. In Luke 14:23 Jesus said “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”, so that’s what we are doing.
For the past year, we’ve been driving around the Charlotte, NC area in our personal vehicles providing for the homeless. Recently He told us to purchase a Van for this purpose, so we did. During this process, we discovered that banks typically do not provide loans for nonprofits/churches that have not been established for 10+ years. Therefore, we went back to the Gospels (Matthew 10) and realized that Jesus instructed his disciples to do the following: “As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. 9 “Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts— 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep.”, and “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”, and lastly, “…do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, 20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
With that being said, He provided the initial and foundational funds to start this ministry and we have started this GoFundMe, CashApp, and Zelle for those of you that would like to support the ministry, homeless, and underserved. Please feel free (but not obligated) to donate and support the movement of God.
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” -Acts 20 : 35
